In CB2021, PLN 11,148,564 was to be distributed. In addition, this amount was increased by the bonus under the so-called “Project +1”, which amounted to PLN 218,110. This is awarded in the form of the implementation of an additional large project and two small projects for the neighbourhoods with the highest voter turnout.
382 projects were submitted to CB2021. After verification, 287 neighbourhood projects and 10 city projects were put to the vote.
Through online voting via www.bo.gdynia.pl, residents identified a total of 114 neighborhood projects for implementation: 30 large and 84 small (and indirectly three “Project +1” projects – for voting turnout) and 2 city projects (1 general and 1 in the Climate Civic Budget). In addition, 3 neighbourhood councils have decided to subsidise the first projects “under the dash” from their own budgets, so that 3 small projects will also be realised. For the first time in the history of CB, a project was submitted for implementation to which the missing funds in CB were contributed by a donor. In total, a further 123 projects were submitted for implementation in 2021.
25,532 people took part in voting in CB2021, i.e. 11.24% of those eligible to vote in CB. 24,836 people (10.93 percent of those eligible) voted for district projects and 23,941 people (10.54 percent of those eligible) voted for city projects.
The residents of Babie Doły turned out to be the most active, with a turnout of 26.61 percent, and it is there that an additional large project will be implemented. The second and third places in the attendance ranking were finally occupied by respectively: Chwarzno-Wiczlino (24.96 percent) and Mały Kack (22.90 percent). Additional small projects will be implemented in these neighbourhoods.
